No one had seen me so I went below, waded through the water that was gushing in and plugged the hole in the hull with a rum barrel. But what could I do next?I couldn't fight Blackheart’s crew single-handed. I had to take them by surprise. Did I . . .

A)      Dress up as a ghost and scare the enemy overboard?

B)       Fire a flaming torch at the Grinning Skull so the blackguards had to go back to put the fire out?

Hope you’ve all had great swashbuckling holidays, shipmates!

Well you’ve had plenty of time to decide what you think happened next when I went back to the Sea Wolf. Was it A, B or C? The answer is . . . it was all three!!  Unbelievable but true. Blackheart and his crew had attacked in the middle of a storm and I could see that one of The Grinning Skull's cannonballs had blasted the mainmast to splinters. I heard Captain Blade shouting that another one had made a big hole in the hull of the Sea Wolf.  My friends were fighting a desperate fight all over the decks and up and down the rigging. Luckily no one saw me sneak onto the deck. What do 

you think I did?

A)               Rubbed my coin and escape to Backwater Bay?

B)                Swam for shore?

C) Found a way to save my friends - and their ship?

Ahoy holiday shipmates!

I’ve been on holiday - and it rained nearly every day. I didn’t mind though, as there were lots of places to visit. One day it rained so hard that Mum and Dad said we had to stay in all morning! I decided it was time to go and see my friends on the Sea Wolf. Pirates don’t care how wet they get.

But when I rubbed my gold doubloon and popped up in the storeroom on board I found . . .

Here’s some clues. What do you think happened?

A)            The Sea Wolf was in the middle of a raging storm and the main mast had snapped.

B)             There was a hole in the hull and the Sea Wolf was sinking – fast.

C)              The Sea Wolf was in the middle of fight with The Grinning Skull and it looks as if Captain Blackheart and his vicious crew were winning the battle.
