Stitched up!

Ahoy shipmates! I had to do a school project on old ships this week so I went back to the Sea Wolf to do some research. But when I got there, I found the sails were still full of holes from the firework incident so I was put on sewing duty. Unfortunately when my sail was hoisted, I discovered I'd sewn it to my jeans and ended up dangling over the deck!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Shipmates!

I went to two parties on New Year’s Eve - one with my friends for fireworks over Backwater Bay then I spat on my coin and joined the crew of the Sea Wolf in time for a party with the crew. Peter had made some fireworks. Unfortunately, they set fire to the sails! Luckily he'd also made a New Year's stew. The crew put the fire out with it. That was good for two reasons. The fire was out and we didn't have to eat Peter's stew!

Christmas Dinner

Ahoy shipmates! I had two Christmas dinners on Christmas Day – one scrumptious one with my parents in our flat in Backwater Bay, then I spat on my coin and joined the crew of the Sea Wolf in time for dinner cooked by Peter. It was horrible but no one saw me slipping it over the side. And it kept the sharks away all day!

Pirate jokes

Someone left me a joke on the comments page. I liked it so much, I'm giving it its own post!  Here it is.

How much did the pirate pay for his earrings?
(A buccaneer!)

And here's one from me.

How much did the pirate pay for his hook and peg leg?
(An arm and a leg!)
